About the Authors:
Ken Kay has worked for almost two decades as an “education provocateur” promoting a new model of K-12 education for the 21st century. Most recently, he served as CEO of Edleader21, a professional learning community of more than 200 school districts around the United States. Prior to his work with Edleader21, Ken was the founding president of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills and executive director of the CEO Forum on Education and Technology.
Suzie Boss is an author and educational consultant from Portland, Oregon, who focuses on the power of teaching and learning to improve lives and transform communities. She is a regular contributor to Edutopia, a member of the PBLWorks National Faculty, and an advocate for authentic, student-driven learning experiences. Suzie is the writer of 10 books including Bringing Innovation to School: Empowering Students to Thrive in a Changing World and co-author of Reinventing Project-Based Learning: Your Field Guide to Real-World Projects in the Digital Age.
